Production for visual effects can be exhausting, and only made more complicated by the ambiguous nature of the greenscreen. Stephen began shooting during highschool for the 30 minute action epic "The Eclipse of Fear", which contained over 300 bluescreen composites all recorded in his basement with some blue linen. Things have gotten considerably better since then. Do-it-yourself equipment is the order of the day for students with no money, and to this end, Stephen, with the help of Oliver, built a camera dolly from Skateboard wheels in order to achieve smooth camera movement for two shots in Decktechs. It is now being loaned out to film students. |
